About Us

Kinked and Curled is a crochet braiding service available to the ladies and visitors of Charlotte, NC. It is Kinked and Curled's mission to protect your tresses using healthy braiding techniques and trendy crochet styles.

 Tathiana is the Head Protective Hairstylist of Kinked and Curled. She started installing crochet braids in her own hair during her transition back to natural in 2013. Since then she has been perfecting her craft and helping the queens of Charlotte protect and grow their hair under crochet styling. Her services range from low maintenance curly crochet styles to natural and knotless installs.

Tathiana was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to North Carolina to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and currently works full time as Head Stylist for Kinked and Curled. She has combined her knowledge of people and hair to start Kinked and Curled; and her knowledge of business and marketing to grow the brand beyond Charlotte. Kinked and Curled clients will vouch for Tathiana's patience, professionalism, and gentle braiding techniques. We strive to change lives through protective styling and therapy.
